CFI Sales selects QCommission for their Sales Commission calculation needs.
CFI is a Tire sales and marketing company located in Des Moines, Iowa.
CFI has complex commission plans for their sales reps. Commissions are calculated and paid weekly for merchandise and services items. Merchandise and services commissions are calculated differently.
“All of these calculations were done manually in Excel. We spent lot of time in entering the information in Excel from QuickBooksTM to calculate commissions. It also takes a lot of time to resolve any issues, says Tim Berardi, the owner. “Calculating bonuses was also difficult as it is calculated and paid half yearly.”
After doing a bit of research Tim decided to select QCommission, as the software is able to meet all of their commission needs. The solution has provided CFI the ability to automate the commission process in a timely manner.
“During our first kick-off meeting, the implementation team understood our complex plans and configured the plans quickly and delivered the first markup statement for our review. The commission rates vary by gross profit percent and we had a very big table that was difficult to maintain in Excel. This was easily managed in QCommission. Our half yearly bonus calculation, which is based on attainment and gross profit percent, was a piece of cake to calculate in QCommission. The implementation team also gave a very good training session for us to run the system on an ongoing basis. They also showed us how to change the plan for future changes.
The commission results from statements was remarkable to see. It calculated the right amount with a lot of detailed information for our sales rep.” Tim says, “I will definitely recommend this software.” |
